We specialise in container transport between Port Botany and customer sites across NSW. Core services include FCL container cartage (20ft, 40ft, and 45ft), out-of-gauge (OOG) and heavy haulage transport, wharf cartage, bonded storage, fumigation, and short-term container storage and staging.
We service Sydney metro in full — including Western Sydney, Inner Sydney, and the Outer West — along with the Hunter and Newcastle region, Central Coast, and the Illawarra on request. Regional NSW movements are quoted case-by-case.
We are an approved carrier at all three Port Botany container terminals: Hutchison Ports Sydney, DP World, and Patrick. Our drivers are port-inducted and MSIC-carded, with extensive experience in TAS slot management, dehire procedures, and terminal protocols.
Yes. We have specialised flat rack, open-top, drop-deck, and skeletal trailers, along with the permits, pilot vehicle arrangements, and route planning experience to safely move over-height, over-width, and over-length cargo across NSW.
Yes. We have access to ABF-approved bonded storage for import cargo awaiting clearance, as well as short-term container staging near Port Botany. This is useful for staggered deliveries, demurrage avoidance, or destuffing requirements.
Submit your shipment details through the Request a Quote form on our website, email Info@gmkglobal.com.au, or call 1300 479 604. We aim to respond within 2 business hours during operating hours.
For container transport, please provide: vessel and voyage details, container number(s), pickup terminal, delivery address, available pickup window, and any special handling notes (e.g. tail-lift required, residential delivery, dangerous goods). The more upfront, the smoother the run.
We recommend booking 48–72 hours ahead for routine runs to lock in the best TAS slot. Urgent and same-day bookings are accommodated wherever fleet availability allows — contact dispatch directly for time-critical movements.
Yes. Our dispatch line is available 24/7, and we keep drivers on standby for after-hours and weekend pickups. Vessel delays, urgent freight, and time-critical movements are part of our normal operations.

We hold comprehensive Public Liability and Marine Cargo insurance, and operate to full Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance. NHVAS accreditation is underway across the Mass, Maintenance, and Fatigue modules. All drivers are MSIC-carded.
Yes. All drivers hold the appropriate Heavy Combination or Multi-Combination licences, MSIC cards, and are inducted at each Port Botany terminal we operate at. We also conduct internal fatigue management, vehicle inspection, and safety training as part of our day-to-day operations.
CoR compliance is built into every booking. Loads are weight-verified, drivers operate within fatigue limits, vehicles are inspected before and after each run, and documentation is matched against actual cargo. We can provide CoR audit support to customers who require it.
Yes. Every truck in our fleet has live GPS tracking. Our dispatch team provides proactive updates throughout the run, and signed Proof of Delivery is returned digitally within hours of completion. You can also call dispatch directly for an immediate update at any time.
Yes. Our dispatch team manages all TAS slot bookings on your behalf, including peak-period scheduling and last-minute adjustments. Empty container dehire to the nominated park is handled as part of the run, with the relevant paperwork returned to you.
We currently maintain a 98% on-time delivery rate, measured against the agreed delivery window. When circumstances cause a delay — vessel schedule shifts, TAS congestion, road incidents — our team notifies you proactively rather than after the fact.
Standard terms are 14 days from invoice for established customers. New customers may be asked to pay upfront on initial bookings, transitioning to standard terms once credit references are established. Speak with our accounts team to arrange terms that work for your business.
Free time is included at pickup and delivery. Waiting time beyond the agreed window is charged at an hourly rate, which is disclosed in your quote. Port demurrage and detention charges levied by shipping lines are passed through at cost.
Yes. We work with a network of accredited subcontractor carriers who supplement our owned fleet during peak periods or for specialised lanes. All partners must meet the same accreditation, insurance, and compliance standards as our in-house operations. If you’re a carrier interested in subcontracting, contact our operations team.
Get in touch — by quote form, phone, or email — and we’ll arrange a brief onboarding conversation to understand your freight profile, set up your account, and run your first job. Most customers are operational within a few business days.
